Waiting on the storm.....

Just a quick little post to let everyone know I'm still alive.... if anyone cares.
I've been to bogged down to blog. A couple of days ago we had a nice little rain and we woke up to the sound of water running through the creek that runs through my yard. Theres nothing like that sound, so serene, and by tomorrow morning it should be a little rushing river as we're expecting a storm tonight. I finally put up the tree and did a little decorating around my home so I'll share a few pics with you and until I blog again.......Goodnight my friends.

Hi Cheryl! You bet we care!! I look at my 'blogs I follow' all the time waiting to see if you've posted!! :)

You yard...oh my word...Its like a park! No, its like a dream! Lucky!

Like you, I only just now finished putting up some decor (uploading pics on my blog now) and its probably the most conservatively decorated my house has ever been! Like you, its just been so busy (thankfully!) and things just didn't get done right after Thanksgiving as usual...Anyway...yes, very glad to hear from you via your blog post again and yes, we do care!! :)
Merry Christmas, Cheryl!!

Love your yard. I have a bridge in my backyard similar to yours, only mind s over nothing but a pretend bed. Still it' fun to look at and dogs and children love going back and forth over it.

Enjoyed your Christas pics.

Cheryl, You've been greatly missed. Your home is so serene, just beautiful. I think the short holiday season has caused a lot of us to reduce our plans. I know I have. The good thing is it has allowed me more time for enjoying it.(I think!) Debbie

I hope you get to post more photos of your Christmas decorations since I am sure they will be a feast for the eyes and soul. Hope things slow down some for you to be able to enjoy the holidays. Cheryl,

Just lovely. I go to bed with a CD of the ocean. Nothing like relaxing to the sound of water.

It gets to be a bit difficult to blog sometimes, and I too, feel as though I need to apologize. We have to let life take us where we need to be. Our blogs are always there when we have time to come back and say "hello" again to our friends.

I'm so happy I found your blog today.

Have a great holiday season.
