Can someone help my BFF Debra....or sometimes known as Betz....

I'm puttin it out there in the universe, if there is someone that can help my friend Debra from The English Cottage Collection...I got her into this bloggin thing and she has now totally surpassed me, I know this isn't a contest but omg she has the greatest blogs next to that other Deb at Talkin Trash. Anyway I can't seem to figure out (nor can she) why my pics will enlarge with a click and hers won't. So after you enjoy reading her posts I know you gals out there can help her, so give her a visit and help my dear old friend out. I can only do so much..........I'm exhausted, you know I'm just kidding Betz.

While I'm here I will share with you a little project I've been working on the last couple of days. My middle son moved out a year ago and left his poor momma with an empty room I just always loaded with crap. If you know what I mean. Well a Pair of Vintage Tole Wall Sconces inspired me to start cleaning up that space and this is how it stands today...no before pics but believe me its a big improvement.
Now when he comes home my sweet son Tracy can sleep in the Guest Room.
And just a note for my friend Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage...you all know who she is, we are still awaiting the unveiling of your Darling Shabby Chic Cottage
OH MY GOSH THIS IS HILARIOUS AFTER ALL THAT I PREVIEWED MY POST AND NOW I CAN'T CLICK AND ENLARGE MY PICS...OH WELL IT GOT A NEW POST OUT OF ME!
I GUESS I'M THE ONE THAT NEEDS HELP CALL 911 I'M LOOSING MY MIND

Oh, do I feel you and your friend's pain! I can't seem to do anything I'd like to do with my blog. When my first daughter left home, I left her room as a shrine for 5 years. Finally, I painted it poet's purple and put a leopard covered antique couch and bookshelves and had a new study. My son's room has become a mancave for my husband and I keep the door closed. How did you put the floral backgrounds on your blog. I'd love to dress mine up. And if I hear anything about the pic problem I'll let you know. Nice to find your blog and meet you.

I checked out your friend Debra's blog and her pic's also enlarged for me.

If you move your photos around after you have them loaded you won't be able to click to enlarge them. Always load them in the order you want them. If I have a lot of photos I usually load them one at a time starting with the last photo so I know they are where I want them. I hope that helps!

You did a beautiful job!! And, I can enlarge Debra's pictures. When I click on them, they do enlarge. It may be also the option she is selecting when she loads them. She can load them to show up small, medium or large size, might check that out, but they work ok for me?

Dear Cheryl,

Thank you so much for your sweet sweet comment on my blog. You are just darling. I am so glad you took the time to listen to Gran Torino and it touched you.

I checked and I couldn't enlarge yours either. I went to Debra's and I could enlarge only the first photo. I don't think the problem is us, I think it's blogger. The only time I can't enlarge on mine is when I'm pulling photos from another file besides my downloaded ones. I'm no help, right?
Now onto fun things. I love the bedroom redo. I have a thing for black and white. Can't get enough of it. Love the sconces and the whole look you pulled together in record time. I'm impressed!

I love this room with all the black toile! I wanted to do my master bedroom in black toile with fushia accents but couldn't find anything I really liked enough to change my color scheme(pinks, mauves & greens)!!

Cheryl, you never cease to amaze me. This room is GORGEOUS, and I bet you just whipped it together in minutes. I've seen you in action, and you have such a talent for pulling it all together in a flash. You are my style guru.

Hi Cheryl :)

You two crack me up! You can't move the pictures around once you put them on the post, just the writing. Load the pictures first (the way you want them) and then fill it in with what you want to say. It took me a while too :)

The guest bedroom looks gorgeous, but I would expect nothing less.

xoxo,
rue

I don't know too much about how blog pages work. Wish I could help with the pictures (which would mean mine enlarged, too! LOL)

Your blk/wht bed caught my eye as I'm doing everything in my house in blk/wht and love love your new room! I have a couple of those "crap" rooms!lol My daughter also moved out 3 mos ago and empty house syndrom is making me redo everything! Can't help with the picture enlarge thing (I don't like that feature because it shows the dust I missed!!!lol) Have a great week - I'll be visiting often!! Sincerely, Jeannette
